MULTITUDE
MULTITUDE, a solo exhibition by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils, is about our relationship with the city, “the greatest human invention” according to historian Ben Wilson.
Spread across the MIMA, visitors can encounter wall carvings, billboards, cityscapes, videos and installations from different time periods that offer a compelling insight into the Portuguese artist approach to the relationship between people and cities.

MULTITUDE est une exposition d’Alexandre Farto alias Vhils. Elle traite de notre relation avec la ville, “la plus grande invention humaine” selon l’historien Ben Wilson.
Répartis sur les différents niveaux du MIMA, les visiteurs peuvent découvrir des gravures murales, des panneaux d’affichage, des paysages urbains, des vidéos et des installations de différentes époques qui offrent un aperçu fascinant de l’approche de l’artiste portugais en ce qui concerne la relation entre les individus et les villes.

MULTITUDE, een solotentoonstelling van Alexandre Farto alias Vhils, gaat over onze relatie met de stad, “de grootste menselijke uitvinding” volgens historicus Ben Wilson.
Verspreid over het MIMA kunnen bezoekers muurgravures, billboards, stadsbeelden, video’s en installaties uit verschillende tijdsperioden ontdekken die een fascinerend inzicht geven in de benadering van de Portugese kunstenaar over de relatie tussen mensen en steden.
